Our coffees are cultivated, harvested, and processed without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Instead, farmers rely on safe techniques like composting, crop rotation, terracing, and biological pest control. Our roastery is certified by Natural Food Certifiers. Fair Trade

Our coffees are certified Fair Trade which guarantees that farmers and workers received a fair price for their products. Our growers are farmer-owned cooperatives and small family farms, not corporate agribusinesses. Traditional artisanal methods result in a high-quality product that is worth the slight extra cost. All of our coffees are certified Apple K Kosher to ensure that we adhere to the strictest procedures and rigorous monitoring of our quality.

Giving back is important to us!

Every month, we give 10% of the sales of one of our best-selling coffees to help support a local organization that provides a critical service to our community without the help of government funding. Three times a year, that recipient is Casa Hogar Orphanage in Ojinaga, Mexico. Casa Hogar provides shelter and care for children who need assistance for a variety of reasons. Donations to Casa Hogar go directly to food and supplies for these boys and girls.

Tour Our Roastery

We offer tours of Big Bend Coffee Roasters’ roasting facility by appointment during our regular business hours. Learn about the process from seed to roaster, meet the staff, and ask tons of questions. Tours are $20 per person which includes a pound of the coffee of your choice.
