Artist Steve Stratakos has been creating fabric appliques since graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1977. Steve’s early textile influence came from an exhibit he saw by Amish quilters at the Chicago Cultural Center.
Steve has exhibited his quilts throughout the world including Spain, Japan, Africa and the United States. His quilts are in private collections, public museums, aquariums, zoos and public libraries.
